L’hôte était agréable, le logement est parfait avec la terrasse. Très bien équipé. Très bon matelas malgré que ce soit un canapé. L’appartement se trouve au premier étage sans ascenseur dans une résidence privée calme.

I just wish all my stays during the 3 months I'm in Europe were as nice as this (I'm doing a series of articles on cycling in Italy and France for several magazines). Other than going to the wrong building number to check-in (I missed this on an earlier message), everything went smoothly. Unlike many properties I've stayed at, everything worked as it should (tv,hot water, decent bed, etc.) The unit was well taken care of - including nice details like a power remote to raise and lower blinds. There was even a full size refrigerator - many offerings now have worthless minibars that barely cool anything. The area is quiet and safe with an entry gate. There is actually a promised view of the ocean on a nice balcony. Another nice bonus was a modern current smart tv that allowed for 'mirroring' your cell or tablet on to it. I would have booked a second night but it wasn't available. The bed provided excellent support and comfort (surprisingly good for a couch style). Hosts were nice enough to allow for early check-in which was appreciated since being on a bicycle means wanting to get some rest after a tough day! Just laying in bed, enjoying some entertainment, was enhanced by being able to look out at the view. Coffee pods were provided with a good quality machine (not the cheap options offered by many). I had my own coffee blend so I didn't use. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. There were no hidden surprises - I'm getting a bit tired of the various money grab strategies employed by some - surprise last minute fees for sheets, or cleaning charges (for normal use), or hefty deposits for receiving keys or security. Quiet - I was probably the loudest person around watching tv! So what are you waiting for - book before someone else snags (especially in busy summer season).
The only negative was the second hand smoke from renters below on their patio outside (rising to my balcony above). Of course, smoking is still popular here, and even dinning outside you can face the same. I would just close my sliding glass door until they were gone - I waned to enjoy as much as the outside ambience as I could.
