Well presented, comfortable and peaceful. Situated in a great location for Visiting other areas. The village is very pretty with a convenience store and 2 eateries. Louth was a lovely market town with Hubbards Hills nearby which provided a super walk alongside the stream.

Our stay at Joanne and Glen’s Pond View cottage was beyond fabulous — from the moment we arrived, everything just felt peaceful, relaxed and effortlessly welcoming. Joanne and Glen were incredible hosts, so warm, accommodating and genuinely thoughtful, making us feel completely at home from day one. What really made this place special was the garden. It honestly gave us laid-back Caribbean vibes with its tranquil atmosphere, hidden corners and beautiful sun traps dotted all around. Every turn seemed to reveal another quiet little spot to sit with a coffee, read a book or simply switch off and listen to nature. There were secret tucked-away areas perfect for unwinding and completely destressing, and somehow the whole place managed to feel both luxurious and wonderfully homely at the same time. Our dogs were just as welcome, exploring the gardens and the walks all around the area, soaking up the chilled feeling as much as we were. Whether soaking up the sunshine in one of the sheltered seating areas or enjoying the calm ambience by the pond, we left feeling properly recharged. Pond View cottage is a true hidden gem, and Joanne and Glen have created something really special. We already can’t wait to return.
