The Old Weighbridge

A quirky little property, well laid out for it's size. Ludborough is quite a nice location, and having the preserved railway nearby is lovely.

Loved the modern internal conversion that had been done to this unique old property. Setting was lovely by the heritage railway. Peaceful location with great views across the fields.

Really cute place in gorgeous countryside, nice views over the fields, and the steam trains were running on the Sunday, with a steam punk event on too! The Livesey Arms is nice and only a 15 minute walk away. Perfect place for us to stay for a wedding as a couple.

A few cobwebs around but didn't bother us. There was a bird in the log burner when we got there but we got it out as quickly and as carefully as we could! Host got in touch to make sure everything was okay.

Absolutely loved the old weighbridge, bags of character, well thought out, and executed almost to perfection. Amazing location, lots of great scenic walks, Loughborough train station, with vintage old steam/diesel trains, literally next door.

Only afew minor issues, lots of daddy Long leg spiders in every corner, cleaning products under the kitchen sink lacking, (dregs off washing up liquid in bottle, no new cloths or sponges) Bedding & mattress topper for pull out sofa bed crammed in the cupboard. Unfortunately the whole area had a power cut in the middle of the night, which couldn't be helped, but triggered the emergency light to come on, the neighbour boiled us some water so we could have a coffee first thing.
