Lovely Family Holiday Home in Bonchurch

This really is a family home and you can feel that. The artwork in every room, either original paintings or limited edition prints are very nice and largely by local artists as far as I could tell. In addition there are a lot of eastern influences to the décor: Indian, Thai and Turkish again as far as I could tell. There were three of us which meant we all had a double bedroom with a twin and single remaining. The kitchen was a joy to use and there were a large number and variety of utensils. The dishwasher and washing machine were very useful to have. There is also a tumble dryer though we didn't use it. Everything about the house said quality, clearly time and money have been put into it. Lovely garden too. The location was superb with the way in and out relatively straight forward in a very undulating area with narrow roads. The shops in Ventnor were an easy ten minute walk.

Not the fault of the house at all but the large van permanently parked outside the house next door made visibility when leaving by car rather difficult. I'm nitpicking because there wasn't really anything we didn't like.

Self catering

Just the outside and garden could have been a bit nicer but as we spent most days out so it was hardly anything to complain about. Beautiful home.
