We really enjoyed this cabin. The location is excellent — only about 15 minutes from Helen.
Many reviews mentioned the road, and we were a bit worried that getting there might be difficult. However, we had no issues at all and drove back and forth several times a day, even in rainy weather (we have a front-wheel-drive crossover).
The cabin itself is very cozy and full of character. The large windows are fantastic, and if you’re sitting on the couch, you get a beautiful view of the mountain 😌.
Unfortunately, we never got to see the bear that so many reviewers mentioned. But overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cabin.
