Single room for only one person

I was made to feel welcome by a friendly couple during my stay. I had asked were there facilities to iron should I need to bring an iron (on phone prior to arriving)... an ironing board was in my room when I arrived. Very comfortable bed... first night had great sleep. I was told about what was in close proximity. ie shopping complex, inclusive of places to eat. The property was close to my event that I was in Papamoa to attend and other places were easy/quick to drive to. I was able to park in an area on the property.

The first shower I had was luke warm and the second shower was stone cold despite spending some time trying to adjust the control lever. There was only cold water produced from tap over basin aswell. During the second shower I slipped on the floor of the shower so I suggested some sort of non slip mat or the like should be placed on the shower base to prevent his happening. I was aware the bare minimum i.e. a bed and shared bathroom would be provided to me and any other needs like food etc would be my responsibility to arrange elsewhere. However, I did suggest that perhaps an electric jug could be made available in the future so a coffee/tea could be made if desired.

Excellent location, very lovely hosts. Comfortable bed. Great value.

Location was perfect in the heart of Papamoa. Food drink etc across the road - even a KFC. AIMS was a 5 minute drive.
