As a budget accommodation it provides the basic requirements... I had mis-booked my dates and the Manager George worked a solution that solved my problem and I used the Booking.com customer service centre to help with that solution, my thanks to Sean for making my difficult situation into a fixable solution

Great location

It was filthy!!! Bathroom and toilets were gross and have clearly not been cleaned in months. Fridge was dirty. TV didn't work

An incredibly small room being advertised for three. Lack of kitchen equipment.

It's clean and convenient for a single person who trips a lot around NZ - and I'm 63! I was amazed at how close to Tauranga central it was and by the cleanliness of the facilities, everything working and fit for purpose. The budget rates are recommended if you can get in early enough beforehand and the area is certainly quiet enough at night. Only two rooms there so much reduced chance of being disturbed by late night antics or unwell young kids. This place is really meant for older travellers
