Elegant 2BR Apartment for a Relaxing Getaway # 4

Very spacious apartment. Very clean and well presented. Allocated parking on site. Good location to Rothley village centre. Apartment building almost brand new. Good facilities, had everything we needed.

Only little grumble was the apartment wasn’t ready at check in time 3pm. I live in the village and was renting for family staying, and as they didn’t arrive until later due to traffic there was no impact. When the keys weren’t available at 3pm, I tried ringing the hosts but no response. Great apartment but improved communication for my experience.

This property comprises 4 new-build apartments. On the date of booking, the apartment I booked had obviously only just been completed, so everything was new and finished to a very high standard. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped with plenty of cooking and dining equipment, and the bathrooms fitted with lovely showers. Beds were very comfortable. The property was warm, and quiet. There is a good wifi service, useful as mobile reception (O2) locally is patchy. The location is excellent, at the heart of the attractive village of Rothley, 20 minutes walk from the Grand Central (preserved steam) Railway, and with other tourist attractions in the area; convenient too for business trips to Leicester. The hosts replied very quickly to requests sent via Booking.com and communicated promptly when there had to be a change of apartment number due to other guests extending their stay. For information only: do not be put off by the images currently on Google Streetview, which show the property under construction as a fenced-off area. These are out-of-date views.

As the property is so new, there are a few very minor details that could be addressed. There needs to be a mirror in the main bathroom, and hooks for towels or dressing gowns in this and the en-suite bathroom. Apart from that, I can't find anything to fault.
