The unit was well equipped and the location was pretty convenient

Firstly, after booking I receive a message that the unit I booked cannot be honored as the guest has decided to extend their stay. Like what? Then, when I arrived at the property there was utter chaos. The front desk said they couldn’t find my booking and made me make multiple calls to the holiday home company. They then told me that they can only release the unit once I make the security deposit - the link to this was NEVER shared with me. In this situation they wanted me to give them cash (which I wasn’t carrying on me). I asked them to at least allow my 5month old baby and wife (who were sitting in the car outside all this while) to check-in, but they denied. After 30mins of back and forth they then got someone to come there with the card machine to take the payment. The security at the reception and the holiday home representatives were extremely rude and were not considerate at all. A horrible check-in experience.
