Lousy reviews were almost off putting. But those are in our opinion unjustified: Great value for money, huge swimming pool, nice rooms, TV, WiFi, proper bath with unlimited hot water, black out curtains and balcony, too. All this for a price which is unbeatable

Great staff

The best way to describe the hotel is old. Old as in ancient. Everything is worn down, the mattress is hard as a rock ( tip: ask for two extra duvet planets and use them as extra padding under the sheets), and they may have a little cockroach and mold problem. But the staff you interact with every day, specifically housekeeping and the chef and food service ladies make up for every bedside lamp or socket that doesn't work. The housekeeping comes every day, they make sure you stay hydrated with daily bottles of water if you need it and they give you new worndown but clean thin towels and empty your trash. Those who spoke a little English did their best to meet you halfway and we're very forgiving of my choppy attempts at speaking Thai. Those who didn't speak any English used an app to communicate or went and dragged back someone who spoke an ioto more English that they did. The best part of my stay and the only reasoning giving this place a 3 start is because of the breakfast buffet. As a foodie,daughter of a chef and lover of all Thai food, I can attest to the authenticity and quality of the Thai dishes. The continental, western items like butter, jam and coffee...nothing to right home about. The ladies and gentleman who run that breakfast buffet have everything ready byb6:30am for early risers like me and keep refilling the different dishes or breakfast item until 10am when breakfast end. This is a great place way to try out Thai food if youve never had it before and if your still not convinced that choosing the option that comes with breakfast is the smart thing to do, you can still try it out for 150tbt. As for location, I'll just say, you're definitely staying with the locals. And the 7-Eleven on attached to the back racing the main street is very convenient and they speak English farely well. Right outside the door during the evenings is a pop-up food stall that sells the most delicious roast pork and rice served with soup, chili's and garlic. Grab a nice cool beer from the 7eleven and have yourself a Michelin star meal for 140 baht! I know my review sounds like a food review but my point is, it's not the worse place to book when you're quickly passing through upon arrival in Thailand or you're short on money for accommodation. Or if you want to start your Thailand adventure with regular every day Thais, this isn't so bad for the bargain price!
