Medina social club

The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect place in the medina. It felt very safe and everything (restaurant and city highlights) was within walking distance. The hotel has a terrasse which has a lot of space for lounging and escaping the busy city!

Bed was not the most comfortable and the bathroom had a smell, but probably because of the sewerage in the city.

A very beautiful Riad right in the centre of the medina maze. A true oasis in the chaos. My room was really big and clean, located in a quiet adjoining building. Breakfast was also really good. A set breakfast with small variations each day. There is a nice airy rooftop where you can have a drink or meal. Staff is friendly and professional.

Although ‘social’ is in the name, as a solo traveller you might be better off elsewhere. During the 5 days of my stay I saw only couples and groups in the riad. There was not really a social vibe to meet other solo travellers.

What I liked most about the property was its convenient location, close to all the amenities. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and hot, unlike at the previous property we stayed at. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable. An extra touch that made our stay much easier was the map they provided, showing us how to get in and out of the Medina. It was very helpful and greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. 😊

We really enjoyed the property overall, and the room itself was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a good night’s sleep. For one night, it was absolutely fine, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer in this particular room because the bathroom was not very practical or functional. The bathroom was extremely small, with everything positioned very close together. The glass was very close to the sink and toilet, which made the space feel quite cramped. There was also a wobbly shelf, which my friend hit her head on, so that definitely needs attention. The bathroom door also didn’t close properly and had quite a large gap, which made it difficult to feel comfortable using the bathroom when someone else was in the room. There was no cupboard or much storage space, and there wasn’t really a suitable area or mirror for putting on makeup, which could be particularly inconvenient for female guests staying for more than one night. That said, the room itself was nice and comfortable, and the bed was excellent. We had a good night’s sleep and, for a one-night stay, the bathroom wasn’t a major issue. Hopefully, the other rooms have more practical bathroom layouts and better storage, as this particular room would be difficult to stay in for an extended period.

This property is very beautiful inside. It will surprise you. I’m a solo traveler, stayed in private room with private bathroom. There was a bunker bed but comfortable and clean. To walk in and out was a easy once you know the route. Worker’s friendly but they do expect tips. Overall: good stay.

In the room there is not a small table or anything to place your phone or charger etc. suitcase on the floor and everything you have you have to place it on the floor !!! Room will improve if they put a small table. Food prices are not cheap, their prices are TOURIST price.
