Casa Fontesecco

Casa Fontesecco was a great place to stay! We had a spontaneous trip to L’Aquila to see the Ai Wei Wei exhibition at Maxxi. We booked last minute and the reservation was confirmed timely. Filippo our host was ver communicative and available for questions. He speaks English which helped the gap in my poor Italian. There were 4 of us and the two bed two bath flat was exactly what we needed. Great enoteca downstairs with lots of great wine and just a few minutes walk to Piazza Duomo where we had a late night gelato and passeggiata. We parked on the street which was plentiful when we arrived but got busy on a Friday night.

I don’t like coffee machines - I am strictly a Bialetti user- and there was this amazing grand thing. It made fine coffee but a Moka pot would have been a nice option.

La posizione era molto comoda vicino al centro e il proprietario Filippo una persona speciale che ci fatto trovare sempre il parcheggio sotto casa anche quanto tornavamo dalle gite

Spazioso, doppio bagno, ben attrezzato, ben pulito. I ragazzi molto gentili e sempre disponibili, vengono ad accoglierti e risolvono qualsiasi intoppo. Ottima pizzeria sotto casa.

Niente di grave, come spesso accade nelle docce non ci sono poggiasaponi
