4min to 東新宿Shinjuku

Comfortable stay near Ikebukuro, I went back there a few times as it was within walking distance. If you're ok with walking a lot, you can access Ikebukuro station in 20 mins, lots of restaurants in 5mins, Anime Tokyo Station in 7mins. Shorter if you walk fast. It's a 12min walk to the Yamanote line, which gives you access to the rest of Tokyo. Sakura tram is also just 10mins away (walking). The Indian restaurant right beside the place was so good too! Also there are many conveniences, like 7-11, box lunch store, and a grocery store nearby (2min walk), 3 vending machines around the corner. There was also the nearby Zoshigaya Shrine (3min walk) which was lovely to visit. I went early morning, and there were prayers being recited which gave the place a very sacred vibe (even more than usual for temples). The entrance to the bigger shrine is next to the park, though. Don't confuse it with the entrance that is closest to the apartment, as you will miss the bigger area with torii gates and a very large ginko tree. The room looks the same as pictured. I like that the toilet and shower/bath room were separate, and that there was a divider/sliding door to separate the bedroom and the kitchen. The place was spacious enough for our luggages (3 people). There is a balcony, we enjoyed the view of the road for a few mins at a time. The sink was in the kitchen/dining area, but that was fine, and I like that the mirror had front facing lights. Basic toiletries were also included, like toothbrush, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and towels. The host was also very responsive and helpful when we thought we had missing items. (But later on we found them.)

Some reviewers said they could feel the springs on the bed, and I did too, but it was still comfortable for me. I still give full scores because it did not affect my comfort much. Also, when I slept without using the blanket (I laid on top of the comforter/blanket) I could not feel the springs anymore. But during that time, it was cold, so most nights I would sleep under the blanket.

Pas de salon, espace cuisine très petit

房东很热情，沟通很顺畅，入住顺利。交通便利，尽管徒步去池袋站稍有点远，但门口有公交可以坐。去雜司谷站更方便一些。价格搭配这个位置还算合理。

首先是房间比声称的面积感觉要小很多，一家三口入住很局促。卫生不是很好，第一次进屋发现桌面有污渍，柜子里有挂起的潮湿的床单枕套，洗脸池和梳子都有头发。床垫不舒服，翻身时弹簧会很响。还有就是因为只靠空调采暖，房间异常干燥，但没有加湿设备。没有电视看也很难受。

Çarşaflar temiz değildi. Ev de temiz değildi. Tuvalet için peçete konulmamış . Havlular konulmuş ama ekstra ücret isteniyordu bu saçma geldi. Yüz havlusu için ayrı ücret vücut havlusu için ayrı ücret. El sabunu bile azdı 2. Günümüzde bitti . Heryerde kıl vardı. Temizliğe takıntılı iseniz duramayabilirsiniz.
