The location was perfect right next to Barolo old town. There were markets and little shops very close by. We had Damilano, Marchesi and Bourgogno shops and the wine museum next door. At the corner of the apartment there is a picturesque view of Barolo vineyards. We could walk to restaurants and gelato shops easily. The host Marco is so helpful and made sure everything is in order for us. The apartment is clean and the beds were comfortable. He laid out 5 towel sets for us and had two bottles of water for us. The espresso machine is wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Just be aware this is Italy so the garage is quite small. We had to park in the public car park and in peak periods, it meant that the Barolo area is cordoned off because it is so full and you have to park downhill and walk 20 minutes to Barolo town and the apartment. Not the host’s fault, just a small downside of being in such a popular area. Another small thing is that the shower is rather small, but again this is typical in Italy!
