Quiet 2BR Apt, 20 Mins to NYC - Steps to transit

We had a very nice stay in this apartment! We particularly appreciated that the place was very clean and with a generous quantity of towels, soap and shampoo. The two rooms -although we only used one- are big and the beds are comfortable. The self-check in was smooth and practical. The area is quiet and looks safe at basically every hour. There are many shops and restaurant, mostly Latin American (not far, in Weehawken, we liked the Mexican restaurant Charrito). The view of Manhattan skyline from the river feels like magic. To reach Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan took not less than 50 min, also because of traffic. Not a big deal, but not close either. With a car it might be faster, but I don’t recommend to visit New York by car. Anyways, we are happy with our choice!

Proximity to bus-stop to NY. Neigboorhood. Cleanliness. Comfort.

It says FULL KITCHEN, but without a dishwasher. There is no washing machine. It says ''Upper floors accessible by stairs only''. It gives feeling that the place is multi-floor and you are renting the whole building. In fact the place is Upper floor only. You share the house with a lower-floor neighboor. Parking is listed as one of the main property, but it is a PAID parking. I think PAID should be emphasized whenever you write Parking. when you try to pay online, they charge 25USD/day, instead of 20USD/day. There is no ''additional toilet''.

Lovely clean 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor. Great appliances and layout. Close to shops and restaurants. We found out that if we walked for 15-20 minutes to a bus stop where direct buses took us to Manhattan in 20 mins as opposed to the local bus. Ferry was also an excellent way to cross into Manhattan.

Stairs were steep to first floor. Would have been great to know about the more direct bus route.

Logement très confortable et très bien équipé dans un quartier calme. Nous sommes à environ 40 min en bus de Port Authority ( centre de New York ) Je recommande vivement !
