Мы ехали с сафари в сторону центра острова. И нашли это прекрасное место. Мы приехали ночью и Сэм нас встретил. У нас был улучшенный номер и в нем все было отлично. Номер чистый, постельное белье тоже. Кондиционер, вода и чай в номере. Утром мы заказали завтрак, вкусно поели пообщались с Сэмом. Ехать ли в это место? Точно да!

Sam is a cool guy and will try his utmost to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. It’s possible to walk to Buduruwagala. It’s about 1km to the entrance and then a further 2 kms to the rock carving site. I stayed in a non-air con room which was a little warm at night but it was the hotter time of year. Good shower with hot water. Soft towels. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Lunch and dinner also available. Beer too! I paid LKR1,000 one way for a tuk tuk from and to the bus station. Plenty of buses on to Ella, Pottuvil and other destinations.
A bicycle to use to and from Buduruwagala would be good.

All round fantastic stay. Sam was the most welcoming host and the place was thoughtfully designed with everything you need. Amazing to see all of Sam’s garden being used throughout the meals! Highly recommend.
