It was good and centrally located, with parking.

Small things needed improvement. There wasn’t a full set of kitchen. Worn out pots/pans. Missing utensils, no teaspoons to be able to steer coffee etc, lids for the stove didn’t match so you couldn’t cook right. The conditioner had shampoo inside that was watered down and not usable. It wasn’t super clean, but it was OK. Don’t wanna leave a bad review, but small things that are super easy to fix, definitely needs improvement. I’m sure the management will update soon now that they know.

Nice neighborhood, south of downtown Austin. Main street will be noisy, beware, but it is very nice, full of restaurants, shops, nice stroll to go downtown - will take approximately 30 min on foot. Loved that main street and the neighborhood around is quiet (sans a barking dog in the vicinity, alas nothing to do with the apt) No frills 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (each with a tub, not suitable for low mobility people). Huge Master bed with large bed, second bedroom with two single beds. They provided laundry detergent. 1 roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper. The apt is keyless, will only open by using a (very long) code to get it, have it handy at all times! Communication with host was nice (a little caveat below) They are building a new condo complex right next door -I would imagine there will be noise in the near future and will prevent natural light to come in, unfortunately... I would stay again, should certain matters were addressed, or depending on pricing comparison with other apartments that booking.com had advertised (closer to downtown or the same area, but newer buildings)

With the following comments in mind, I would give this place a 7.5 rating. The cleanliness was a little lacking, and needs attention to get to that 8-9 rating. Gave feedback to the owner/manager regarding cleanliness. Floors, pots, pans, oven, dishes, etc. were all dirty; we did not cook at all inside the apt. Bathtub, dusty windows, and other areas as well could definitely use a thorough cleaning. There were no dish rags in the kitchen, but plenty of regular towels. Out of the 2 parking spots provided, only one was available (if it was) overnight, seems like other neighbors are just taking any spots. We came into Austin with two cars and this place was perfect for that, but it would be better to address this issue, as well as the cleaning. One of the single beds needs fixing. Communication with host: was always responsive until the moment in which we gave feedback, we never heard back from them, and the last message was basically 'leave by 11 am'. We checked out early, anyway. We are professionals, non smokers, adults, and were not worried about the many warnings sent regarding all that, but the language used with those warnings puts off a little. Maybe we are just very sensitive. Overall I would reiterate that communication was still plentiful until / during arrival and would stay again, if cleaning was addressed.
