Newtown Hideaway

The property was immaculate and well equipped with everything needed for our 3 night stay. The kitchen is as good as it gets in terms of crockery, cutlery, appliances, and cleaning supplies (but I'd recommend buying a new frying pan 😄) All 3 bedrooms were well presented with pristine bedding and plenty of pillows. There is a handy seated area in the rear garden which is a lovely suntrap. It's a busy residential street so being able to use the driveway was an added bonus. The bathroom is small, but as there were only 2 of us it didn't pose too much of a problem. I don't think I'd be complimenting it as much had there been six of us fighting over it, but nevertheless, it was clean and modern, and the shower over the bath was powerful and hot. There is a supermarket a 2 minute walk away, which is perfect as we didn't bring much by way of food and refreshments. Finally, as we knew we'd be returning home late on our last night, we asked the owner if we could extend our checkout time and offered to pay a supplement. She was more than happy to accommodate our request and waived any extra payment. Overall this property is worthy of its "exceptional" rating.

Nothing on the dislike list. As mentioned, the bathroom might be a bit of a hassle if there are maximum guests, but in the whole scheme of things, it's a minor issue and doesn't impact the overall rating

Clean, comfortable, roomy, great facilities. Great location for our stay at the fair. Neighbours really friendly and helpful, good communication from the host.
