White Pearl Villa

Obiekt jest prowadzony przez bardzo sympatyczną rodzinę, naprawdę zależy im na satysfakcji gości. Prowadzą malutką restaurację po sąsiedzku, którą także polecam. Śniadania smaczne z lokalnymi daniami. Do picia do śniadania podają herbatę lub kawę (kawy nie polecam), ale żadnych zimnych napojów, nawet wody. Właściciel pomógł nam w organizacji wycieczki kajakowej po lagunie. Do dyspozycji gości jest także kuchnia z raczej ubogim wyposażeniem, ale świetnie było mieć lodówkę. Miejsce mogę polecić tym, którzy nie oczekują kryształów i marmurów i mogą przymknąć oko na niedociągnięcia. Jednego wieczora mogliśmy obserwować szalone harce małp na dachu willi i okolicznych drzewach, to było świetne widowisko.

Could not recommend white pearl villa and their family enough! Their villa was spotless with plenty of facilities and spacious rooms with working fans and aircon (as we only required one room the other bedroom was locked). The villa is also situated on a quiet road so you get no loud outside noise like road traffic etc and it is in a prime location - close to the town and only a couple minutes walk to the beach. Their breakfast is included in the price of the stay and it is HUGE, they definitely make sure you don’t go away hungry! They own a restaurant that is right next door to the villa, the food they cook is amazing, packed full of flavour and it is very reasonably priced. The family are the most accommodating family we have stayed with so far in Sri Lanka, they really care for you during your stay and make sure you are satisfied with everything and they have 2 super cute and friendly dogs as well! The owner also offers transfers and excursions which we didn’t realise before booking, they include fishing trips, safaris, airport transfer etc. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough, if you are looking for somewhere to stay that’s in a quiet but convenient area in Tangalle, this place is definitely for you!!

Well located to explore the local beaches, all within a 5-minute walk. The space is very spacious for two people, and it was nice to have a TV with Amazon Prime to relax in the evenings. The owners are beyond lovely and truly go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous spread and plenty of food. It’s served at Tasty Delights, their restaurant next to the homestay, which was great.

In our view it is more of a homestay than a typical villa as the property is split with the stairs blocked and the family living upstairs and you may hear them going about their day. They have their own seperate entrance.
