Discover Girona from the heart of the historic centre with this charming one-bedroom apartment, situated on the third floor of a classic Barri Vell building—just a short stroll from Plaça de Sant Feliu and many of the city’s must-see landmarks. Please be aware: there is no lift in the building, and the staircase is steep and narrow. Bringing bicycles can be very difficult. The apartment features a flexible bedroom setup with a double bed that can be converted into two singles, a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room, making it ideal for two to three guests. A compact balcony offers a glimpse of Girona’s rooftops—too small for sitting, but perfect for a breath of fresh air. You'll find everything you need for a pleasant stay: air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen to enjoy meals at home. The natural light and calm atmosphere make this space a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. With its central location, the apartment is an excellent base for discovering Girona’s medieval charm. Wander the nearby narrow streets, enjoy tapas at local cafés, and visit highlights like the Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, and the old city walls—all within walking distance. The room was great! It was clean and comfortable; the upgraded sheets and quality furniture helped make our stay more relaxing. Having a clothes washer and dryer were important to our trip. Having sugar and creamer provided with the coffee maker would be a nice addition and is provided by the cheapest of motels, and salt and pepper instead of having to be purchased. The check-in process was horrid. Having to fill out pages of additional material on-line the day before arrival including signing a contact with additional stipulations beyond the VRBO listing is inapprpriate and unwelcomed. But at that point you cannot cancel. Miss the garbage pick up day and time frame, you can be fined. Leave the lights on? You can be fined. The people were pleasant to deal with after dealing with the difficulties they created. In hind sight, i would go somewhere else not managed by Bravissamo.

Had a wonderful autumn week of cycling around Girona with this perfectly located and appointed apartment as my home base week. I was solo but would be comfortable for two. Small grocery store and a few quality bakeries just steps away. The only downside as a cyclist was lugging the bike up the narrow staircase at the end of a long day of riding. That said, easier than the Rocacorba climb!
