Location wise, excellent, views fantastic, calm and serene.

I asked for the usual one., bread, butter, jam, etc, all were there with milk and eggs provided, which was a welcome surprise.

The floor was tiled, so, a bit cold. A mat at the front door could have prevented bringing wet shoes inside the cottage.

Hidden Paradise at Hidden Hills

Fabulous experience in an idyllic setting. Incredibly beautiful views, especially if you like sheep and the world of fiber. The house was immaculate, comfortable and charming. Our host's parents gave us a phenomenal tour of their sheep farm. Our 3 hours with Timothy and Kitty was one of the most heartwarming times we had in Ireland. I'd return to Hidden Hills in a heartbeat.

Good starting point for tours, very close to the Ring of Kerry

Hidden Hills was an excellent choice. The house is beautifully situated in the countryside, quiet, surrounded by sheep pastures and with a beautiful view of the great surroundings. Sinead was a really personable hostess. We got to know her and her father as they gave us insights into the daily work of a sheep farmer (absolutely recommended!). The house itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fireplace for cozy evenings.

The sheep should not be so shy :) No kidding: I can't think of anything negative

Exceptional

This place isn't just beautiful, it's a whole experience! The house is so lovely, comfortable and warm! The decor is wonderful, and it has everything you need! It's so GORGEOUS, AND THE SHEEP ARE SO CUTE! The surrounding settings with the mountains and the valleys is literally incredible! Please just stay here, it's peaceful and Sinead and her father Timothy are lovely and kind. It's all you need! 💚🤍🧡 It's also just 10 min from Waterville which is an adorable town with lots to offer!

It was just perfect, we couldn't have asked for more.

The cleanliness and attention to detail. There were Apples and Oranges, fresh eggs and SevenUps for the kids in the fridge. There was plenty of firewood for the stove as well. We really felt like home.

There was nothing we did not like.

We stayed in Hidden Hills for 3 nights in July 2021 (two couples and two children).

The house is about a 10-15 minute drive from Waterville and is beautifully set in the countryside. The house has a lovely cottage charm and it was really comfortable and exceptionally clean. The kids loved the secret garden and early morning country walks. My husband climbed the mountain up the back of the house and enjoyed the beautiful views!!

A couple of very minor things - a microwave would be a good addition to the house. It would also be great if there was a facility to recycle more items.

Exceptional

Despite, the roads, an excellent place to hide away from the busy city life. You leave all the hustle and bustle and are nested in a calm, serene, quiet and the most idyllic place. The house at the footsteps of the mountain is ideally located, perched high up, with great panoramic views of the valley. The walk away towards the lake refreshing, sucking in all that pollution free oxygen that nature intends us to breathe. Would recommend it highly and if chances comes would return and finish that unfinished long, windy walk with streams, lakes, mountains and goats ofcourse all around. Perhaps, a bicycle would be an idea.

The only drawback is distance from the main village, amenities plus signage. A person visiting for the first time can very easily get confused with all the small roads, if no GPS. Once you are off the big roads, the country roads are extremely narrow, windy and at times a bit treacherous.

The location was so peaceful and in such a scenic part of Kerry. Sinead was very friendly and helpful! The house was really modern and had everything you need for a lovely stay.
