Welcome to Nature Coast Cottage, a completely renovated waterfront home in the heart of Homosassa. Rebuilt after Hurricane Helene, this beautiful home combines modern comforts with the charm of Old Florida and offers everything you need for the perfect fishing, scalloping, or family vacation.
Located on a deep freshwater canal with direct, unimpeded Gulf access, you’ll enjoy stunning river views and daily visits from manatees, dolphins, mullet, turtles, and countless birds. Whether you’re relaxing with your morning coffee or watching the sunset after a day on the water, this property was designed to help you slow down and enjoy Florida’s Nature Coast.
Inside, you’ll find a bright, open floor plan with two spacious master suites, beautifully updated bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen ready for family meals. The home comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests and offers multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, including a Florida room and a screened porch overlooking the water.
For boaters and anglers, this is the perfect home base. The property features an extensive seawall, three boat slips, a covered boathouse (lift not operational), a fish-cleaning station, and plenty of room to dock multiple boats. You’re only minutes from the Homosassa River, the Gulf of Mexico, waterfront restaurants, marinas, and some of Florida’s best fishing and world-famous scalloping grounds.
One feature guests absolutely love is the commercial ice machine, so you’ll always have plenty of fresh ice for coolers, drinks, and long days on the boat—no last-minute trips to the store.
After a day on the water, rinse off in one of the multiple showers, enjoy the convenience of dual water heaters, fire up the grill, and spend the evening making memories with family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay. Comfy beds and the house had great amenities. Our favorite was the ice machine! Great location! Will definitely stay here again! The host is awesome!!!

This home and location made for a perfect getaway to help my family unplug of our everyday busy lives. We would highly recommend the area as well as this host.

This place is a winner. So close to the action and it's very close to relaxing too.
House was very clean and had plenvirstty of space for everyone. This is my first VRBO rental. I can't say enough about the owners and their prompt replies. Zero issues here check with trip insurance because they are worthless and didn't refund us 1100 for a portion of the Trip we had to take off for due to Debbie.
I strongly strongly strongly recommend using reputable travel insurance company and not VRBO. This has nothing to do with the owners just a word of caution.aboutnVRBOs trip insurance

This home had 3 boat slips,2 refrigerators,1 of the full baths was in the laundry room ,Bring plates. and silverware if you have more the 7 people.1 was covered. It had very sspacious rooms porche a
