This property is great for a family holiday, with access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court and mini-golf.. All on the Ground Floor:

Woodland View 1 is nestled on the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park, on the grounds of the Plas Talgarth Resort which has acres of parkland and woodland. This apartment comprises of an open living room, dining room and kitchen, three bedrooms, a separate shower room and a bathroom with bath.
There are plenty of activities to do on site, such as the indoor swimming pool and spa facilities (spa facilities chargeable), and the outdoor swimming pool is also available from May until September. For tennis fans, the courts can be booked at reception, or treat the kids to a game of mini golf or table tennis (all chargeable). There is also snooker, table tennis, football and basketball available on-site (also chargeable). Alternatively, simply walk around the lovely grounds. There is also a launderette on site along with a pub and a restaurant.
There is plenty to see and do in the area, including Dolgoch Falls, 15 miles away, with its beautiful scenery and waterfalls. For the animal lovers, there is the Welsh Falconry Experience (booking required), where you spend hours learning about birds of prey and actually meet the birds too. Talyllyn steam railway is 7 miles from the property, where visitors can take a ride on the 150-year-old steam train and the museum is worth seeing also. Visit Barmouth with its sandy beach, an ideal place to take the kids and where donkey rides are available in summertime. Whatever you decide to do on your holiday, there is plenty to see and do for all ages, and your four legged friends will enjoy the open countryside too! Beach 8½ miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant on-site.

A really nice resort. Bungalow was spacious and it was lovely having indoor and outdoor pool ( and decent weather to enjoy the latter). Pools were lovely and warm too.
Bungalow was well equipped with kitchen utensils etc ( even had a teapot and butter dish!) grounds were pleasant with a great view of the river valley from the woods.
Downside: resort charged £15 for Wi-Fi which was useless. I don’t mind paying if it actually works but it kept dropping out all the time. It also feels tight when you’ve spent a grand on your holiday.
Biggest moan was being charged for electricity. Again it was only about £15 but it seems very tight. Considering it’s a fairly upmarket resort it left a bad taste I thought.

Great site with some activities (golf, snooker, swimming). Decent onsite restaurant great for evening meal, less good for lunch. Watch out for the outrageous electricity bill at end of the week charged at nearly twice the rate I pay at home.
