Landhaus Fischersruh - Your Vacation Home

"Die Mariken" is a family-friendly vacation rental with a large lawn and its own spacious terrace on the lawn, located at Landhaus Fischersruh on Lake Plau. The property's private beach is just a 0.5-minute walk away. There are also 2 rowboats there. These
are available to you free of charge.

The open kitchen is fully equipped.

A fantastic view and a place to relax and enjoy pleasant, quiet get-togethers.

The Mariken vacation rental has 3 bedrooms and is popular with families. The large bedroom has a double bed, a single bed, and a real (wooden) crib. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are smaller and each has a double bed. The vacation rental has a second, very nice entrance via the balcony, which is connected to the meadow via a path where you can use the terrace that belongs to the vacation rental.

In the evenings and early mornings, with a little luck, you can spot foxes and other animals, often cranes and wild geese. Deer, badgers, raccoons, raccoon dogs, and ermine also live nearby.

The country house is located on Lake Plau on a large meadow within the Mecklenburg Lake District scenic conservation area. The house has its own shallow beach. The house and its vacation apartments are suitable for families of all sizes, anglers, nature lovers, couples, and large groups of up to 15 people.

You can swim, go rowing, and fish; take a boat ride along the reeds and see schools of roach, tench, and perch in the clear water.

If you’re lucky, you might even spot a pike. The lake is home to pike, perch, zander, roach, rudd, trout, dace, eels, and tench. Zander and catfish are less common.

You can observe hares, deer, foxes, cranes, wild geese, white-tailed eagles, and horses from your terrace (west-facing—evening sun).

A fishing license or tourist fishing license and a fishing permit are required for fishing.

You can purchase the tourist fishing license before your arrival from the City of Waren—Office of Citizen Services.
