About this house rental
Welcome …to our beautiful old two-sided farmstead on the edge of the Tharandt Forest.
We are Barbara and Thomas Schöpke, and we warmly invite you to our vacation home, “Unter den Eschen.” The exterior of the house features the traditional old-style half-timbered construction with natural stone typical of this region; it was recently refurbished in October 2023 and completely renovated inside.
The truly beautiful location of the property and the even more beautiful surrounding landscape will make your stay unforgettable in any season.
Vacation home, shower, toilet, 4 or more bedrooms:
Our house offers plenty of space for 6 people. Upon request, extra beds for up to 2 additional people are available.
The basement features
— a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace
— 2 bathrooms (with shower and toilet)
— a spacious adjoining room with an infrared sauna, separate toilet, laundry facilities, a washing machine, and a coat closet
The upper floor features:
— Two large bedrooms, each with a large double bed, closets, and a seating area with a TV
— Two smaller bedrooms, each with a closet and a comfortable place to lie down; an extra bed can be added to create a full sleeping arrangement for 2 people.
The adjoining garden, approximately 1,800 square meters, with mature trees, offers plenty of space to retreat for quiet time or shared activities. A patio with seating, a grill, a fire pit, and a water hookup are available.
On-site fees: A 30% deposit is charged upon booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full via bank transfer before arrival. For last-minute bookings, the full price is charged immediately upon booking. A security deposit of €200 must also be paid in advance via bank transfer.Cancellations made up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before arrival will be charged 70% of the total cost; cancellations made 1 day before arrival will be charged 90% of the total cost. Check-in is available starting at 3:00 PM. Check-out is due by 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to make arrangements, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival. A crib or rollaway bed can be provided free of charge upon request.Pets are not allowed.
