Athens' Heart Elegance

This is very close to a very nice park to overlook the city. Nice walking paths, and we felt very safe. The Suite is a couple floors up, so you can hike the stairs or take the small elevator up. The A/C works well, but takes a little while to get to the correct temperature. The location is nice walking distance to the Acropolis. There are plenty of cafes, grocery stores, and ATM's within a 10 min walk. The manager offered to hold our bags all day for us while we toured the city before transferring to the cruise. Excellent communication with the management!

PROS: Clean & SafeCommunication with owners or the management company (we were never truly certain whom we were texting) was fast and helpful. Very responsive!!!! Thank you. They arranged drivers for us at the airport, and we also used the drivers to take us to the cruise port. Thank you! The living area and kitchen areas are comfortable/spacious. 2 balconies, one with decent space to hang out on. Hubby appreciated the Nespresso pods & machine. USB ports under the lights, next to both beds were very helpful!Lots of windows and natural light The walk to Metro and local restaurants etc is easy. NOTE: there are gradual hills to be aware of. Bldg has an elevator and apt is only on 2nd floor (I think)Grandpa's Pizza is fantastic!! Walkable and in a fun happening neighborhood, too.CONS:Both bedrooms were smaller than expected. 2nd bedroom did not have any hangers, and the main bedroom had maybe 8 hangers. We were a party of 4 adults.We rented the apt primarily for the washer and dryer. Could not figure out how to use the dryer - it's a washer dryer single unit. (all in Greek & Google was not helpful). Managed to get all the laundry done via air drying, but still... Hall bathroom has NO storage space for toothbrushes, face wash etc. It's a pedestal sink, & the bathroom is tiny. 2 Showers small & both drains were clogged upon arrival. Arm on the sofa was also broken on arrival. We reported both.Body wash in showers would've been nice.

Great apartment – highly recommended!I honestly don’t know what to praise first. The location is unbeatable: just steps from the Acropolis and all the main attractions, yet the neighborhood is calm and quiet. The apartment itself felt like a luxury hotel, with a central air-conditioning system that kept us perfectly comfortable despite the summer heat.Both bedrooms had wonderfully relaxing mattresses—I wish I could have the same at home! There were two bathrooms, each with a modern shower cabin, which made our stay very convenient. The kitchen was amazing too, almost like my dream kitchen, and fully equipped.We especially loved the front veranda. After a long day of traveling, we decided to stay in, order food, and enjoy dinner outside—it was perfect. The next morning, we discovered a lovely hill right next to the apartment. Within just a five-minute walk under the trees, we reached a clearing with stunning views of the Acropolis and its temples. It’s also a popular spot for jogging—I really regretted not bringing my running shoes!Overall, a fantastic stay that I would happily repeat.
