About this bed and breakfast
Unit Location
This unit is located on the first floor of the apartment building. There are a couple of steps to get inside.
Check in
There is a lock box to the left of the backdoor which you will be given instructions about the day before your check in. The lock is a little tricky sometimes. Try with the key not all the way in and upward pressure.
Heat/AC
The heat runs in the building at the same time. The thermostat can adjust the heat temperature, but only up to what the building is set at. For AC, there is 1 window unit in the living room.
Parking
We do not have off street parking.
There is a little bit of street parking nearby and more a few blocks further to the east. If you do park on the street, you will need to register your car with the city of Milwaukee for night parking. For more information on this, see the online house manual.
If you wish to park off street, we recommend using Spot Hero to look for a spot.
Kitchen
We have basic cooking utensils that you are free to use, but we would greatly appreciate if you could clean up before checking out. There’s also coffee and a coffee maker. There is a kitchen table with stools.
Living Room
This living room comes with 1 sectional couch and a smart TV.
Bedroom
There is a queen bed with fresh linens in the bedroom. There is a closet with hangers for clothing storage. Upon arrival, there will be 2 sets of towels and washcloths laid out for each guest.
Bathroom
This apartment has a full bathroom. The shower includes shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Laundry
If you need to do laundry, we have a building wide laundry room in the basement. You will need the front door key to get into the laundry room. To get there, the door to the basement is just to the left and across the hallway when you leave the unit. You'll see a locked door (front door key). Once you're inside the door, the laundry room is down the stairs. Instructions for how to pay for the washer and dryer will be there.
