Maison Albar - Le Pont-Neuf

The location was very good - lots of restaurants and shops near by.

The room was well equipped and had everything one would need. I specifically chose this hotel because of the advertised generous room size of 25 m². Unfortunately, the actual bedroom measured only around 12.5 m², making the space feel extremely cramped. A significant portion of the advertised area consisted of the corner shaped entrance hall and the corridor leading to the bedroom, which were of no practical use. In reality, the bedroom and bathroom together amounted to less than 20 m², which, in my opinion, was far from what I had expected when making the booking. After I raised the issue, the manager offered a 10% reduction on the room rate, which I appreciated. However, this did not fully compensate for the disappointment regarding the discrepancy between the advertised and the usable room space.

Smell of damp in room. Poor public areas for such an expensive hotel. Hotel room lacked natural light.

The location and the size of room + the Bathroom bidet is a plus
