A cosy, characterful timber cottage, large kitchen & living room, 2 big bedrooms, modern bathroom, WiFi, large orchard garden, hard tennis court shared with other properties , private parking, stunning views.
Beautiful walks from the door & close to the beaches of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Perfect for couples, friends, singles & families. Dogs welcome.
The picturesque towns of Beaminster & Bridport with independent shops are nearby.
The Space:
Sawmill Cottage is a timber built one level property, with masses of charm & character. There is a large kitchen & living room which is open plan, two large & light double bedrooms & a modern bathroom with a bath & shower. The ceilings are high with timber beams throughout. There is free private parking just outside for 2 cars & you can charge an electric vehicle using a lead. The pretty orchard garden is for the sole use of the cottage, with a range of apple trees & stunning panoramic views of hills from the front door. There are a huge number of wonderful walks straight from the cottage, with Howards Wood (20 acres of community woodland) literally outside the gate.
Guest Access:
You will have sole use of the cottage, the orchard garden & the 2 private parking spaces. You can also use the hard tennis court when available which is most of the time.

The Neighborhood:
Sawmill Cottage is situated in the stunning village of Netherbury (where the original River Cottage was filmed). It has a private orchard garden, private parking for 3 cars, use of a hard tennis court, welcomes dogs, families, children, adults & electric cars can be charged using a lead. It is on one level & has stunnnig views from its front door over the rolling hills. It is next to Howards Wood (lovely walk), lots of beautiful walks from the front door, a short drive to the beaches along the iconic World Heritage Site of the Jurrassic Coast & close to Beaminster & Bridport with independent shops/cafes/restaurants. Lyme Regis, Sherborne, Abbotsbury & Dorchester are also a drive away. Please note that it is next to our main house but we offer complete privacy to guests unless you want to contact us for any reason.
Getting Around:
Beaminster (5 minute drive) & Bridport (10 minute drive) are close by & West Bay & access to the beautiful coastline/beaches (10/15 minute drive). There is private parking at the property for 3 cars. There are countless footpaths from the front door.
Other Things to Note:
Sawmill Cottage is on the edge of the sought after stunning village of Netherbury. It is close to the nearby beaches, market towns, walks, woods, pubs, restaurants & attractions of West Dorset. The perfect place to unwind, relax, rest or play.

I am available throughout your stay to welcome you, give you any advice you might want, suggest places to visit (although there is an information folder with a lot of useful local information in it) & be on hand for whatever you may need during your stay.
