Our family loved staying at the Drowsy Owl. Communication was very prompt and clear before and during our stay which made it so easy. The property was spotless on our arrival and was perfect for our family. Walkable to downtown and a short drive to the river, hiking, etc. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

We rented this cabin last minute after being unable to access our original booking due to ice/snow, and we were not at all disappointed! This cabin was beautifully decorated, cozy/comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect! Easy access even with the snow and ice and within walking distance of both downtown Boone and a park to walk our dogs. Kelly was a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

The property was fairly clean. Although in pictures everything looks nice, bedding, mattresses, dishes are low quality. The mattresses were so hard and uncomfortable we actually left the property a night early.
