It was a dream to stay in this house

We just got back from an amazing vacation with a wonderful group of family and friends. First time renting a house to share on vacation, with no regrets. This house is amazing!!! We all had a ball. Bedrooms were spacious and privately spread out throughout the house. The pool overlooking the river and the views out on the river was breathtaking. The kitchen, dining area, living area, bathrooms, and the back area felt like we were living in luxury for 8 days. The view from the front entrance stopped me in dead in my tracks. Lol. Just as shown in the pictures on VRBO. Had some minor hiccups but nothing that held us back from having a great time and that wasn’t addressed immediately. Great neighborhood, great beaches, lots of places to eat out, warm and welcoming people. House manager Anja Hunger. was very knowledgeable about the home and answered everyone of my questions. Will definitely return.

This house is absolutely gorgeous, in a great location, and has so many amenities! The pool was spectacular complete with pool accessories! There were kayaks and bikes to use! It was all simply amazing! The property manager was nice but not as responsive as I would have liked. After our arrival, It would often take her 12-24 hours to respond to a message with a question about the property. In addition, there were several instances where she would say she would follow up regarding something and then wouldn’t follow up. We had to end up contacting her. For example, upon arrival the washing machine was broken and she said that she was ordering a new one and would let us know the next when it was coming in. We didn’t hear from her for over 48 hours and ultimately had to end up calling her. In addition, the contract read that the house should be broom swept clean upon our departure. During checkout we were asked to completely dismantle the entire barbecue grill and clean the entire grill inside and out. This just seemed a bit excessive. However, the property manager was very nice and professional.

Not a bad thing to say about it other than one of our last days we spent most of it dealing with Lowe’s delivery drivers and the maintenance guy because the tenants before us complained of the washer leaking and they wanted to replace it. I get wanting to get it fixed but that robbed us of nearly an entire day where we had plans and instead stayed at the house dealing with that stuff. Also the delivery driver kept acting like I owned the place and wanting me to make decisions even though I kept telling him we rented it for the week. But honestly the house itself is amazing and we would definitely stay there again (hopefully without dealing with any Lowe’s delivery drivers).
