About this apartment rental
I live here when not renting it out, so you're very much living in a London home. It's triple aspect so enjoys lots of light and has a spacious lounge, separate kitchen and bedrooms at opposite ends of the flat.
South East London is on your doorstep, while East and Central London are easily accessed via the Overground and mainline train (17 mins direct to London Bridge).
THE APARTMENT
It's a small block of just 9 flats, mine is on the first floor. It's light and airy and has a calm Scandinavian feel to it while also being homely.
There's also a balcony just off the living room, which has 2 comfy seats to relax on when you're home.
The neighbours are friendly, a mix of families and professionals. You'll hear them coming and going throughout the day and evening, as with most London properties.
There's free parking on the street outside the flat and in the surrounding streets.
THE AREA
Mayow Park is on your doorstep (3 minutes walk), which is a beautiful spot to spend time and has an excellent cafe which is really popular with the locals.
Sydenham and Forest Hill are both 13 minutes walk away. Crystal Palace is a 30/40 minute walk, as is Honour Oak, Peckham Rye and Beckenham Park.
Lots of buses close by to take you to other parts of London, including Greenwich, Crystal Palace, Dulwich, Blackheath and central London.
