About this apartment rental
Spacious two double bedroom apartment, few minutes walk from the famous Crystal Palace park, where there is a petting zoo, public sports facilities, boating lake and café. If you fancy venturing up to London you can get a train which will get you there in 20 minutes, Crystal Palace station and Gipsy Hill Station are both a short walk away. Or maybe you prefer to have a wonder round the many independent shops, restaurants, cafés and bars that ‘the triangle’ has to offer, also a short walk away. The apartment has a spacious entrance where you can hang your coat and leave your shoes. There are two spacious, bright, neat and uncluttered bedrooms and a full bathroom. At the end of the hallway is a large open plan living area and kitchen. The space has many large windows that provide great views of the whole of London. You will see beautiful sunsets from this apartment and hear beautiful bird song.

We knew the area so it was very practical, 15 walk to the station Syndenham Hill, and you will be in Victoria in 15 min.

As I stated by the title, I was a little put off at first because of the outside appearance of the apartment complex, but the inside more than made up for it.The distance from the town center or fun places so to speak, about an hour. The host was incredible. I would recommend this to my friends.

James was a great host as he was always available to answer any of our questions. The flat was exactly as the photos showed and was well maintained and quiet. Like with most VRBO's, we did need to rewash some of the dishes but that was not a big deal. The beds were comfortable and the towels were great. It was so nice to have the washer and drier in the flat as we used them daily. Be aware that there is a dehumidifier collector in the drier that needs to be emptied regularly. (Upper left). The flat is in zone 4 for the Underground and the station is about a 15 minute walk. It is mostly uphill on the way back so might take some people longer. The Underground station closed for repairs when we were there but we were able to take the 3 bus to the Brixton station and got on there. We felt safe waking at night and never had any issues. Also note that the flat is on the 6th floor. There is a lift but unfortunately it was out of service for most of our stay. We didn't mind hiking the stairs but for some that might be a consideration. The restaurants that are on the main road in Crystal Palace were good and reasonable. This VRBO was a great base location for all of the sightseeing that we did around London. It was also reasonably priced in comparison to other options in the London area and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to my friends and family.
