Mt Ruapehuis also a great attraction with ski fields in the winter and amazing sightseeing in the summer. On a clear day you can see these two majestic mountains along with Mt Ngaruhoe from the property. It's just a 45-minute drive away!

We did not meet the host however as soon as we easily found keys and arrived it was such an awesome beautiful weekend. None of us were familiar with the area but accommodation was nice and close to town. Amenities outstanding, bedrooms marvelous, Outside/Garden area just breathtaking. Definitely cant wait to return.

A lovely location, incredible views, an easy drive to town but feels like you are the only house in the area. Lovely, warm home, more than enough room for us. Think the TV needs a fix so we couldn't watch movies cos of the dark blue tint, but the table tennis matches were a highlight.
