Executive Stay Tongariro

Good location & spacious .

The television were not set up for free to air stations. No hand towels and bath mats. No rubbish bins in bathrooms.

A very nice modern house. The host immediately responded and addressed a couple of small issues we had.

The rubbish policy is a major inconvenience not expected at this price point. Essentially you are supposed to take care of any garbage at the end of your stay, pack it in your car and find a place to dump it. It would be much easier to have a garbage bin in the garage.

I like that it's close to the snow mountain, complete facilities, clean and big. I like that it has books for kids and the rooms are spacious. The jacuzzi is also 👌. There's a thermostat and heater in every room which kept us warm. There's also a heatpump at the ground and 2nd floor. The extra linens are good for cold nights, too. The wifi has strong signal. I'd give it 8 stars out 10.

It's been newly renovated so some things I think haven't been finished like the bulbs on the high ceiling that needs replacement. The wall sconces on the stairs are also not working The entrance is dark as the ceiling lights were missing. I think the utensil drawers should be cleaned regularly. One of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor has cracked window although it didn't affect the overall experience of our stay.
