Contemporary Cottage 5 min walk to major bike path

We LOVED our stay. It was exactly what we needed and the back yard was perfect for our dogs. At the time of our booking, we weren't sure what to expect for the back yard but it definitely exceeded expectations with the grill, deck and ample space for our dogs to run and play. The location was perfect for the bike trail and all that we wanted to do while we were in Lincoln. Our home is great but we have older appliances so the fridge, the dishwasher and the washer/dryer combo were major wins for me as well. We didn't need the upstairs but it was great to know we had the extra space if required. The beds were comfy and clean. My partner and I each had our own bathroom and we loved the decor, dinnerware (yay pottery!) and especially all the art on the walls. It was unique and not your standard short term rental decor; we noticed and we appreciate it! Many places just look like a TJ Maxx exploded in the house. No shade to TJ but how many 'live, laugh, love' plaques do you really need? We'll definitely book this cottage again on our next trip to Lincoln. Thanks!

It's a very pleasant, clean, nicely decorated house. Really nice outdoor spaces, especially the deck in the evening.

We had a great stay at the cottage with our dogs. They even provided two sets of dogs bowls. The home is clean and thoughtfully decorated. The deck and fenced in yard was great for outdoor conversations and time spent with our family. We had a great time!

I wanted to love this property; however, after settling in, I noticed that it was dirty and had a slight odor of cat urine. There was thick dust on the TV stand and dust bunnies under the bed, and crumbs under the couch cushions. The outside light to the backyard was not working, and there were ants in the kitchen. The dishwasher wouldn’t run and tripped the breaker each time we attempted to use it. Although the outside deck is very nice, the host scheduled tree maintenance for two consecutive days without prior notice. The yard was full of weeds. Most of these issues are easy fixes and would make the property very desirable.I rented this as a pet-friendly property, but realized I hadn’t selected the box indicating that I had a pet. The host sent a link to pay an additional 75, which I paid immediately.
