About this house rental
Nestled on 90 acres of tranquil woods, this "gem hidden in plain sight" offers a unique and authentic getaway in the heart of Maine. Our cozy two-bedroom, one-bathroom rental unit sleeps 4 comfortably and 7 in a pinch. (More people than that? Keep reading!) With miles of private trails, historic rock walls, and a meandering stream (guest assumes all risk), it's a nature lover's paradise.
Your Rustic Retro Retreat Awaits
Living Spaces: Spacious eat-in kitchen (fully equipped with refrigerator, stovetop, wall oven, microwave, coffee pot, and various small appliances), living room, office, sitting room.
Convenience: In-unit washer/dryer, standby generator, Smart TVs.
Bedrooms: 1 Queen bed (main floor with blackout drapes), 1 Full bed (upstairs with room darkening shades).
Flexible Sleeping Options:
Need more than 2 beds?
- A Queen platform bed with a memory foam mattress can be set up in the sitting room (no door) or split into two "Half-Queen" (30x80) sections for placement in the office (with a door) and/or upstairs bedroom. We'll set up your preferred configuration in advance!
- The living room couch accommodates one person (does not fold out but fits adults up to 6').
Outdoor Oasis & Adventure Ready: Step outside to a sprawling yard designed for fun:
- Relaxation: Screened gazebo, fire pit, grill.
- Parking: Ample off-street parking, perfect for trailers (ATV, snowmobile, horse trailers – grass paddock available).
- Trails: Private trail system on the property. Located just 0.25 miles to ITS-83 snowmobile trail, 4 miles to ATV trails (ATVs permitted on the road to access trails).
Ideal Location for Exploring Maine: Corinth is a lovely, small, authentic rural Maine town, centrally located just 30 minutes from Bangor, Newport, and Dover-Foxcroft. It's the perfect base for exploring countless day trip destinations across Maine!
