We were in town for Husson University’s friends and family weekend. This was a perfect place to be! We easily drove to Husson yet had the peaceful view of the lake to relax with during down times. We played a lot of ping pong and Pac-man. I cannot wait to rent this house again! It was fantastic!!

The property worked perfect for our needs. Owners were upfront and clear in communication. When a few things came up they responded promptly. The location and views are amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great common and outdoor space for a family vacation or a small team retreat.

The check in process was easy and efficient. Bbq needed fixing, not the thing you want to be doing while relaxing. Communicate from tenant “crickets”. Location was a 5 star, very much country. Now I know how the Waltons were able to say good night from each room in the house. You can hear everything no matter the room you’re in. Small rooms thumb latch on the bedroom doors, zero privacy. Must be to help with air circulation. Sulfur smell from the water we were told about upfront so you will need to keep the windows open. They do have water treatment systems for that they should look into it. Little fire pit next to the dock on the lake is great, and pay no attention to mister deeds cutting the lawn. Just be alert for projectiles and keep safety glasses in hand. The kitchen nook is great for sitting around for breakfast.. plenty of space throughout the house. Coffee on the porch in am. The bull frogs help sing along to noises created during sleep. The fix the doors to actual close and knobs to operate would make a difference on privacy. Add water filter and treatment would help eliminate the sulfur smell and save on the AC use. Spray insulation in the walls. Get some piles that aren’t flat, my pillow is always having a sale. I use humor to soften the blow but it’s not funny when you’re paying the money. You definitely get that lake cabin experience. I was asked not to post on the review because it has a negative impact on the renting. Maybe a disclaimer would help or fixes?
