About this apartment rental
The Wilsterberg was once a farmstead with livestock and stables and has been family-owned for over 100 years. Today it consists of two connected buildings, the front section of which was completely demolished and rebuilt between May 2011 and April 2012. This newly built section also includes our small (but charming) vacation rental, to which we would love to invite you.
The vacation rental, of course, has a separate entrance and a parking space.
Our house is located in the heart of the Hüttener Berge Nature Park and Recreation Area, almost exactly halfway between Rendsburg and Eckernförde. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation, you’ve come to the right place. The rolling hills of the Hüttener Berge and the nearby lakes Bistensee and Wittensee, as well as the Windebyer Noor near Eckernförde, are perfect for hiking and walking. Numerous bike, mountain bike, and hiking trails start right at our doorstep. In front of the entrance on the courtyard, there’s an outdoor seating area with a table and chairs for our guests. You’re welcome to use the barbecue area. Upon request, we also have space for your bicycles in our garages.
Horseback riding vacations, vacations with ponies and horses:
In the immediate vicinity (500 m), you’ll find the Hüttener Berge Riding and Sports Club (Reit- und Sportverein Hüttener Berge e.V.), which is just a 5-minute walk away. You’re more than welcome to pursue your hobby with ponies and horses at Sandra Albert’s. We’d be happy to put you in touch with the riding club and Sandra. Weidmann´s Fishing:
One of Schleswig-Holstein’s largest lakes is located nearby (6 km). Lake Wittensee invites all fishing enthusiasts to come and fish. You can find more details here: https://www.fischer-bening.de/angelsport/
