Stylish, accessible vacation home on a thatched-roof farmstead near Missunde with panoramic views of the Schlei, a large garden, sauna, and fireplace—ideal for 2–6 people.
Enjoy this spacious, unique vacation home, part of a historic farmstead, with a large, historic garden. It is located on the outskirts of Missunde and offers a magnificent panoramic view across the meadows—where you can admire cattle and their calves in the summer—to the Schlei.
Spend the day on the Schlei (e.g., at the Brodersby beach “Klein Westerland”), go hiking, ride a bike, visit the small, beautiful towns in the area, and explore the beaches along the Baltic and North Sea coasts. And if you’d like, spend the day in the garden. Plenty of outdoor furniture, including a beach chair, is provided.
The vacation home is part of a historic thatched-roof farmstead and is completely separate, with its own garden. Since only the exterior is listed as a historic landmark, the interior—with the exception of the old beams—has been completely renovated to create a new home that retains its charm even when combined with modern materials. Thus, the renovated, barrier-free house offers you all the modern amenities: underfloor heating in the tiled areas (bathroom, kitchen), integrated wall heating in the exterior walls, oak hardwood floors, and wooden ceilings.
On the GROUND FLOOR, you’ll find an open, modern kitchen with a kitchen island, a dining and living area, two bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have direct access to the bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed (2 m x 2 m) with electrically adjustable slatted frames; the other has a French bed (1.40 m x 2 m).
On the UPPER FLOOR, there are two additional bedrooms (each with a double bed measuring 1.80 m x 2 m), both equipped with a sitting area and an additional TV, as well as a spacious bathroom with a shower and an infrared sauna.
The vacation home is ideally suited and furnished for 2–6 people. Because it is so generously laid out, guests have plenty of space to relax in privacy. If only 2 people are staying, the entire first floor and the sauna on the upper floor are available for your use. If, instead of the first floor, one or both bedrooms on the upper floor are used, a surcharge of 15 € per night will be charged. In any case, you’ll be the only guests in the house!
In winter and on cold days, in addition to the soothing warmth provided by the built-in wall heating, a wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere. When you return to the vacation home frozen to the bone after a long walk, treat yourself to some time in the infrared sauna. From inside the sauna, you can look out over the garden, which is for your exclusive use; of course, there are also roller shades.
Pets are not allowed.

When using the upper floor—excluding the sauna—with an occupancy of only 2 people, a surcharge of 15 € per night will be charged.
For the 3rd through 6th person, a surcharge of 20 € per person will be charged per stay. Please transfer this amount along with your booking payment.
