In the heart of Puglia, a region famous for its Trulli, this charming apartment for 3 offers a peaceful retreat for friends or a small family. Close to some of Puglia’s most beautiful towns and only 40 minutes from the coast, Annunziata Apulian Farm M. makes a wonderful holiday base.
The trullo has been converted into two unique apartments. The front door of this ground-floor apartment leads into an open-plan living area with a double-height, vaulted ceiling and natural stone walls. There is a day bed/sofa in the living room, with a flat-screen TV and a dining table. A second set of glass doors leads to the shared courtyard. The courtyard includes a shaded dining area and opens onto the larger shared garden.
Back inside, there is a kitchenette which is equipped with an induction hob, oven, Moka coffee maker, toaster and fridge/freezer.
Sleeping
Bedroom: The bedroom is on a mezzanine level above the living area. It has a double bed and an armchair.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable single bed.
Bathroom
The beautiful bathroom has a glass shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
Only 30 minutes south of Bari, the apartment is in unspoiled countryside, close to the town of Sanmichele di Bari (8 minutes). Sanmichele di Bari is known as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. Complete with a castle, winding medieval streets and ancient houses. Turi (10 minutes) is another medieval gem of a town. Noci (20 minutes) is worth visiting, especially for its weekly market (Tuesday morning) where you will find the best local produce, especially the dairy products for which the town is known.
Another must-see is Alberobello (25 minutes), which looks like something from a fairytale. It is a town of Trulli - the small, conical houses only found in this part of Italy and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the perfect town to explore. It is famous for its “Slow Food” movement and excellent local food. There is also a vibrant, weekly market (Thursday morning from 7.30am).
For guests keen to go to the coast, the apartment is only 35 minutes from one of the most striking beaches in Italy, Lama Monachile, Polignano a Mare. The white sandy beach is small but the water is clear and a great place for snorkeling.
The closest airport is at Bari, a 40-minute drive from the house.
