About this apartment rental
We welcome you to our spacious vacation rental on the outskirts of Leipzig in Wiederitzsch Nord. The vacation rental was furnished in 2025, is modernly equipped, and comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 1 child; however, for short stays, it can also accommodate up to 5 people.
Our vacation rental is approximately 64 square meters in size and is located on the first floor of a single-family home. It has a separate entrance and a large private entryway with stairs leading to the upper floor. There is video surveillance in the outdoor area of the property.
Upstairs, you’ll find the kitchen-living room, the bedroom, a bathroom, and a balcony. The kitchen-living room features a pull-out couch (for up to 2 additional guests), a large flat-screen TV, a small dining table, and chairs. It is also equipped with a combination microwave/convection oven/grill.
The spacious bathroom, which features a bathtub, toilet, and sink, also includes a hair dryer.
The bedroom features a large double bed (2.00 m × 2.00 m), a daybed (for up to 1 additional person), nightstands, a desk, and closets.
Both rooms (kitchen-living room and bedroom) are equipped with an air conditioner and have access to the balcony. The balcony is 10 square meters in size, offers a wonderful view of the garden, and is furnished with balcony chairs and a small table. Smoking is permitted only on the balcony.
Also suitable for cyclists and motorcyclists, as secure parking is available. Cars can be parked on the street in front of the house.
The vacation rental has good public transportation connections. It’s a 5-minute walk to the bus stop, a 10-minute walk to the streetcar stop, and a 20-minute walk to the Neue Messe Leipzig S-Bahn station. The nearest airport, Leipzig/Halle, is one S-Bahn stop away (about a 5-minute ride) or a 15-minute drive by car. You can reach the city center in 15 minutes by tram and S-Bahn. The Neue Messe is only about 2 km (2 tram stops) away and easily accessible on foot in just 30 minutes.
For breakfast, you can pre-order oatmeal, milk, toast, etc., from me. Shopping options (Edeka, pharmacy, bistro) are nearby. There are also several restaurants in Wiederitzsch.
Leipzig has many attractions: the zoo, the main train station, the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, the Panometer, Rosental, Augustusplatz, the New and Old Trade Fairs, the Red Bull Arena, and the Belantis amusement park. Great day-trip destinations include the Neuseenland region with Lake Störmthal and Lake Markkleeberg, as well as Schladitzer Bay, just 6 km away.
Since the “ 01.04.2023 ” (City Tax Act) came into effect, a lodging tax has been in place in the city of Leipzig for overnight stays. The lodging tax is five percent on paid overnight accommodations. This tax is payable separately.
