About this house rental
Relax and unwind at this exceptional and roomy 5-bedroom house. Each room offers a pleasant and soothing atmosphere. On the first floor is 1 king bedroom with a private bathroom and 2 queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The second floor has 1 queen bedroom with a work desk at the dormer window and another queen bedroom that also has a separate twin bed and a work station with a view. These bedrooms share a large bathroom. The second floor bonus room is a large area with 5 twin beds and 2 arcade style games, great for the family and friends! The 3 bathrooms are equipped with a shower or bathtub for your convenience. All bedrooms are equipped with Roku TVs, ceiling fans and sizeable closets. There are large TVs in the Living and Bonus rooms as well. Relax in the superb living room or enjoy the wonderful kitchen with all the necessities including an island and quartz countertops. Out back you'll find an ample covered porch with a dining table and chairs, next to it is a separate area with a gas grill and picnic table on a concrete pad. Beyond that is a large fire pit complete with picnic tables and Adirondack style chairs for relaxing by the campfire and enjoying the natural surroundings. Experience what "The Homestead" has to offer with a stay at our place in this quaint small town.
A short walk from your abode will bring you to our Real McCoy Country Store & Kitchen, where home cooked breakfast is served up Thursday through Sunday from 8 AM to 12 noon (may also be available other days...please let us know your needs). We also offer crock pot meals set up in your home away from home and homemade pizza delivered to your door. Packed lunches are also available. The store has firewood, BBQ necessities, personal items, snacks & cold drinks as well as gifts, apparel, souvenirs and other items.

Within walking distance is Dollar General Store, Trailside Tavern Restaurant & Bar and Pocahontas Exhibition Coal Mine and Museum.
Looking for adventure? We are close to the Hatfield McCoy and Spearhead Trails, in fact you can access them with no trailering necessary. Brush Creek Holl'r Mountain Coaster is 18 miles/35 minutes. We are 15 minutes from Pinnacle Rock State Park and a scenic 30 minute drive from The Back of The Dragon motor route. Winterplace Ski Resort is about 54 minutes away, the tubing is very popular. The recently established New River Gorge National Park is 1 hour and 20 minutes, where white water rafting and hiking are in favor.

Location was great! Brand new, very roomy, comfortable beds, lots of towels, great area out back around fire place that is not next to neighbors. Definitely will be back to this one!

The house was beautiful and provided exactly what we needed for our weekend to be awesome. The fire pit out back was the perfect place to unwind after a hectic day. 10 out of 10 recommend!!
