Welcome to Haus Breeghus in Breege. Here you’ll find two lovingly furnished vacation apartments that offer plenty of space for an unforgettable vacation on Rügen. The ground-floor apartment is equipped to accommodate up to 4 people, and the upstairs apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. Dogs are welcome in the vacation apartments.
The picturesque village of Breege is located in the north of the island of Rügen, nestled between the Breeger Bodden and the Baltic Sea. As part of the Wittow Peninsula, Breege captivates visitors with its natural setting, maritime atmosphere, and the historic charm of an old fishing village.
The town is particularly well-known for its historic harbor, from which sailboats and excursion boats set sail—including trips to Hiddensee or romantic evening cruises on the Bodden. The lovingly restored town center, with its thatched-roof houses, bears witness to Breege’s long history as a seafaring town.
Just a short walk away lies Juliusruh, the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach with its sweeping view across the Tromper Wiek. Here, swimmers, sunbathers, and strollers enjoy one of the island’s most beautiful beaches—complete with magnificent sunsets. The well-developed biking and hiking trails around Breege lead through quiet coastal forests, past steep cliffs, and across fields that slope gently toward the sea.
Those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, and families will find Breege an ideal starting point for both relaxation and exploration—far from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the most beautiful parts of Rügen.
