house located in a privileged location, facing south protected from the "north" overlooking the sea, countryside and mountains, 250 m from Fornelos beach, 500 m from Carreço beach, 1000, Lumiar and Castro Marinho beach, 2. 000 beach do Forte Paçõ, 3. 000 Praia da Adra. Hypermarché at 3. 000m, pharmacy at 1. 500m. Very quiet location, street with car access only accessible to the house, limited traffic, exclusively to the eco / bike path.

Rui was a great host, very helpful with suggestions for local area. Rustic house overlooking the sea. Several terraced areas to enjoy the views, relax under the shady vine or sunbath on an upper terrace. Well equipped and lots of attention to detail, eg areas to put a parasol, seat cushions for sun beds even shower soap, washing liquid etc. Best sandy beach to right of the house is approx 15min walk over rocks and path. House is spacious on three levels. We could relax separately from our teens if needed but I would not necessarily recommend for toddlers due to terraces and steps.
Lots a character and excellent sea view, with a dramatic rocky coastline. Website images do not do it justice.

Rui's house is beautifully situated, high up with great, long sea views from the kitchen and terraces. The access lanes are charmingly narrow (we were pleased we'd rented a Fiat 500!). In March, all was peaceful: there are no passing cars. As city dwellers we enjoyed the quiet, the sea air, the spectacular Ecovia walks. There are several terraces on different levels; in summer you could choose between shady or sunny, and even in March we ate breakfast outside. Inside, we were glad of the efficient heating. The house is exceptionally well equipped: not just in the kitchen, but throughout (there's a washing machine and drier, and there are litttle things like plenty of kitchen paper, even insect repellent and umbrellas). Rui is a welcoming, attentive host. We felt instantly at home, and had a perfect holiday.

We had wonderful vacations in this marvel of a house. First line on the ocean with view on the Atlantic. Excellently equipped kitchen, nothing missing! TV, garage everything. Spotlessly clean, perfect in times like this. The welcome warm and helpful.
Beaches, nature, rest. Coup de coeur! We‘ll come back!

Unique and homey property. Walked public trail down to beach every day. Views of sunrise and surf. Spectacular views of night skye and Vianna do Castello lights. Awoke to sunrise over Santa Luiza and birds singing. Short drive to city but very much a country feel. Would most definitely visit again.
