Downtown Suite

Siisti, tilava ja rauhallinen.

Sisustukseen olisi voinut panostaa enemmän. Nimi Suite antoi odottaa enemmän.

The location was excellent. The building was quiet and secure. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding good quality. The kitchen facilities were fine. Bathroom and shower good.

The towels were adequate rather than "de luxe". More information about the locality, public transport and places to visit would have been useful. A pity there was no facility for leaving luggage for a couple of hours on the day of departure. Not possible to open the window for fresh air.

Location, the facilites, all the kitchen objects, the fact that they leave the previous guest things that are in good condition(olive oil,salt,...) Also the shampoo, gel,etc... We gave the owner a recommendation about the curtains and he answered that he would check It. Its a perfect place to stay in helsinki. Supermarket right under the flat IS very useful as well

The only fact that we didnt like is that we asked for other pair of keys and they couldnt give It to us (we were 2 attending different courses with different timetable) so that was a bit mess having only one key. But apart from this, everything was perfect

The inside of the property was as shown in the photos.

The property was not in the street advertised on Booking, it was in fact on Ruoholadenkatu 10 which was about 10 minutes walk further out from the advertised street (Lonnrotinkatu 12) and away from the centre of Helskinki. If we had known that this is where we were going to be staying we wouldn't have booked the apartment in the first place. When questioning the owner about the change of address we did not receive a reply. We felt that we had been mislead as to the location which soured our stay. Curtains had been put up but they were upside down and did not pull fully across the windows. There was no window to open to get some fresh air. The photos are of the view from the balcony (not a city view) and the balcony itself. You wouldn't want to sit out there!
