Staff location evening meal

A little noisy; hard to find entry

Perfect accomodation to enjoy our overnight stay on the way to QLD. The pub is the centre of town and we enjoyed the walk down the Main Street in the evening with the large fig trees all lit up and people enjoying the local restaurants. We had dinner at the hotel itself and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there- good variety, pricing and different seating areas to choose a quiet meal area or amongst the groups there in the large annex. Our room was exactly what we needed - clean and comfy. The bathrooms are shared with other visitors and we were a little hesitant to book as we hadn’t had overnight stays without ensuites ( we are in our 60’s) however there was 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets and very clean and close by our room. No issues at all. The beach is so close we went over there a few times - the gorgeous Artisan Bakery across the road provided a great coffee and pastry to take for a beach walk. The vibe at the hotel was awesome - the bar and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful and welcomed us and wished us a great night when we told them we were staying the night.

The only negative was the noise from the Saturday night band. It did go till early hours of the morning - but we were on holidays and just enjoyed the sleep in Sunday morning.

The staff on entry were fantastic!! Josh showed me to my room and explained everything clearly. Room was picture perfect! Linen was beautiful too

I was in Queen room with additional room with single beds, perhaps they could put just a simple chair in the second room as there were no chairs in the main room. And maybe a nonslip mat as you walk into the ensuite and the hairdryer cause I forgot mine. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Location is amazing and staff were super friendly

Noise of Friday night band until 1 am made accomodation upstairs tough. The bathroom ensuite is missing a whole pane of glass which didn’t help the noise proofing or the cold on an August night!
