Blue Sky by Susys Holidays

We stayed here for 17 days. A car is a must-have in this location (and island in general). From the apartment it was very easy and fast to get to other parts of the island. Communication with the host was great and she was very helpful. The apartment was clean and big. Garage is a big advantage. Restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy nearby by walk.

We walked a few times to the city center down the hill for 40 minutes and then had to take a Bolt on the way back. The roads in the city are crazy and sidewalks are missing.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It is incredibly spacious, featuring a large kitchen, a comfortable living room, a lovely balcony, and a cozy bedroom. It really felt like a home away from home because it has everything you need, including a washing machine which was a huge plus for a longer stay. The location is perfect if you are looking to explore the island. Everything is within reach, and the immediate neighborhood is great—there are plenty of local restaurants, charming coffee shops, and a supermarket just a short walk away. Our host was wonderful—very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you for everything!

The only downside was a slightly strange interaction with a neighbor. After our first night, we found a note under our door claiming we were slamming kitchen cabinets. This wasn’t true at all, as we were being mindful, but it’s something to be aware of if the walls are a bit thin.

L'appartement est conforme à la description faite et propre et la résidence calme. L'accès y est facile et la place de parking dans le bâtiment est appréciable quand on est chargé et qu'il n'y a plus de place dans l'impasse. La voie rapide est proche. Les commerces facilement accessibles à pied. Merci à Susana pour les vidéos qui facilitent l'accès et au lien vers maps pour faciliter le retour à l'appartement. Le tri des déchets se fait également à Madère. (Il serait juste bien de repréciser les règles de tri).

Petit bémol sur la consommation d'eau qui chauffe en direct : quand vous prenez votre douche, mieux vaut laisser l'eau couler en continu pour ne pas avoir de rupture de température. Il aurait été bienvenu de fournir des compléments sur les transports en commun : carte du réseau sur Funchal et l'île et coût.

Sehr sauberes und großes Appartement mit top Ausstattung. Auch die Besitzerin war sehr nett. Sie hat uns sogar extra Decken gekauft, da wir gefroren hatten. Sehr komfortabler Tiefgaragenstellplatz und super Lage nahe der Schnellstraße.
