La terrazza di Matteo

La posizione è al centro di Bari, mi sono mosso a piedi tranquillamente. In spiaggia sono andato con il bus e ci sono degli armadietti gratuiti per tenere i bagagli! Quindi giornata al mare prima della giornata lavorativa.

Simples mas com bom custo beneficio. Havia uma cozinha boa e até taças p tomarmos vinho.

O box é realmente muito pequeno (e olha q sou uma mulher pequena). A parte externa do apto (q fica no último andar) até q é bonita mas cheira a suor. No momento da reserva, pedi um later check-out até as 13h (saída era às 10h) somente p as bagagens e disseram q teríamos q ver mas daríamos um jeito. Na véspera do check-out entrei em contato e então disseram q não seria possível pois o novo hóspede chegaria às 12h (early check-in). Argumentei e então ela disse q conseguiria deixar até as 12:45h mas q o pessoal da limpeza teria q acessar o apto p limpeza antes do próximo hóspede. Não aceitei por receio e acabou q perdemos a manhã em Bari por conta disso (o nosso voo era somente às 18h).

Zeer goede locatie om de stad Bari te bezoeken. Het ontbijt en het genieten van de zon op het dakterras was super. Alles was aanwezig, waterkoker, koffiemachine met goede, microgolf,... Badkamer OK, wel kleine douche. Kleine lift maar OK. Heel dicht bij het station.

Alle keukengerief was er maar in beperkte mate, sommige potten waren niet bruikbaar op de inductieplaat. Gasfornuis werkte niet. Plastiek borden niet zo aangenaam. Nachtlampje naast bed ware beter dan een kaarsje. Keukentafeltje mooi maar heel klein. Als je met de wagen aankomt is het heel moeilijk om parking te vinden in de buurt, alle straten staan vol geparkeerd.

The location of the place is PERFECT! Close to the main train station, but also to downtown and old town, safe neighbourhood, many shops nearby. The big terrace is a nice feature, although the furniture is not very comfortable.

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience staying in this apartment. I see they updated the name, which is good, because this is NOT a 2 bedroom apartment as previously advertised! It is not even 1 bedroom, it is a studio flat: the kitchen and the 2 (creaky...) beds you see on the pictures are in one open space, so there is no privacy. Our biggest problem was that the blinds on one of the terrace doors were broken, and the curtains were covering only half of the window (??), meaning the apartment became bright as soon as the sun came up. Our whole family was up before 6 AM and we couldn't put down our baby to nap, because there was no way to make the room any darker. The shower was also a big headache for us. There is no handheld showerhead, only one mounted high up on the wall, but the cabin is so small, you cannot step out of the way, so your hair gets wet every time. We had to bathe our baby in the sink because of this...very uncomfortable.
