Casa Alba, Blevio Lago di Como

Great location with a beautiful view. The flat is newly renovated and everything is working properly. The air-conditioning is easy to operate and quiet. Both bedrooms are large and beds comfortable somewhat on the firm side. We met the host who is very friendly and accommodating. Parking was easy to find during our stay in early June. Strada Regia just adjacent to the flat makes it easy to go for walks and explore the village.

As per the description there is no washing machine, if you are planning a longer stay it could be an inconvenience

Amazing stunning apartment with breathtaking view to the Lake Como! We stayed for 2 nights, but will definitely come back again for longer: it is such a stylish and artistic place, with attention to every detail, with antique furniture, wonderful interior and huge terrace to spot the sunset. Apartment has two balconies (small balcony and big terrace) and very good designed room plan, so every bedroom has its own door to the terrace. Modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen (we managed to cook pasta, salads and everything we needed), amazing dinnerware (real antique plates and coffee cups), big fridge, dishwasher, a/c, TV

There is nothing to say here, as we are absolutely in love with this place and it is amazing. Just pay attention, that you need to get bus or taxi to get there and if you need to to any supermarket, as the closest grocery shop will be in Como, there are public buses every hour/30 min depending in the season. It takes 15-20 mins to get to Como by bus, so not a problem at all. Also there is a ferry pier Blevio, where you can get on ferry to go to different villages on the lake, but it is 25 mins walking to get to pier from apartment.

Excellent view, good facilities in the property.

The location of the property is not suitable for short time holiday makers. The transport (bus) is not reliable, and it only runs till 8 pm, if the bus is full it wont stop for you and the next bus always comes after an hour even theres no guarantee it will not be full. The property is on top the hilly road, after the bus stop its around 7 mins walk to the upwards hill to get to the destination. The property will be suitable for someone with hire-car. Theres no shop/groceries near by so overall the location is very inconvenience for someone without car. We were in the property for 2 nights only managed to use the bus once, we ended up paying very expensive taxi service for our stay for going up and down to central Como and to return to the Como train station (around €150 for all)
